The location was great, right on the beach, and the bed good. Besides, we were near to the centre of Salvador, Salvador da Bahia and the public market. The morning breakfast was satisfactory with tapioca and also local food.

my standard queen room was cheap, large. location: the hotel was close enough to a really cool beach, and the waterfront in the barra district. found oasis do porto right by the property where i had supper.

The location is absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice, it's in Barra district just next door to the activity/night life and the waterfront. Very very helpful and genuinely professional staff ensures you spend an amazing time here. Every time in Salvador we stay in this hotel.

This is a worn out hotel with old furniture in the rooms, bad lighing everywhere, rarely enough food at breakfast and filled with noisy kids.

The best is the location, just in in front of one of the beaches of Barra, and really close to the beginning of the circuit Barra-Ondina, if you are coming for Carnival. And it has an amazing swimming pool, and really good breakfast!

The hotel staff in the reception was not very helpful, specially taking into account that we went during Carnival and it would have been great to have some extra information. They do the minimum, and they speak very little english...

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The location, right in front of the stunning beach, was absolutely perfect. We were able to enjoy the fabulous sea view every day. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard for us to leave and do anything else. The hotel's service was top-notch, with attentive staff who allowed us a late checkout for free. We also appreciated the variety and quality of the breakfast, which exceeded our expectations for Brazil. This place truly provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

We would highly recommend this hotel to others without any hesitation.

Location across the road from a beach and at the very end of a bay is excellent. It is also a moderate taxi ride from the UNESCO town of Pelhourinho which is fascinating and the main reason to go to Salvador. There are great bayside walks alongside three bays. There is a modern shopping centre three bays away, if desired. There are a number of coastal restaurants which serve good seafood. Bkfst selection was good and it has a nice pool at the back and good complimentary (3 computor) business centre.

There was only one bar of soap for a 4 night visit! There was no shampoo in the room. A guest was expected to purchase a package of shampoo, conditioner, mini toothbrush and toothpaste! The front desk suggested 30 mins for a taxi ride to the airport. It took us 1 1-2hrs!! A rather tired hotel but excellent location

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, right opposite the beautiful Barra beach. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent service during our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a balcony with a stunning view of Barra beach. The breakfast included was a great added bonus, starting our days off on a delicious note.

No improvements needed, everything was just right.

The staff was nice & helpful. Several spoke english.

Not best location for single traveler

Spent xmas at this hotel and had a blast! The location was perfect as it was just a stone's throw from a gorgeous beach, where we spent most of our time sunbathing and mingling with fellow travellers. The swimming pool was also great for a refreshing dip in the afternoon. We loved the fact that the room was equipped with a fridge to store our drinks and snacks, and the air conditioning worked perfectly to keep us cool at night.

There were a few downsides to our stay. The bathroom was a bit cramped, making it difficult for two people to use it simultaneously.

Definitely not a 4* hotel. Rather a good 3*hotel. Too expensive but very kind personnel and great breakfast.
